Dot Richardson , M.D., would not let prejudices against women stand in her way. When Dot set her sights on a goal, she would Go For It!

Laura Berg
A 1998 Fresno State graduate, this three-time Olympic gold medalist has been a catalyst for Team's USA's success since 1996. A former assistant coach for her alma mater Fresno State Bulldogs, Berg is known to many as the ‘Best Centerfielder in the World.' Inspired by the love and challenge of the game, Berg has developed into an experienced leader for this year's squad. |

Tina Boutelle
A 2006 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, Tina Boutelle joins the PFX Tour after leading the University of Texas to yet another NCAA Division I World Series appearance. A 5’5” powerhouse, Boutelle had an astonishing .500 batting average during the 2006 NCAA Super Regionals and helped lead the Longhorns to the WCWS in 2006 |

Kelly Kretschman
A 2002 graduate from the University of Alabama, Kretschman captured her first Olympic gold medal in 2004 in Athens, Greece. While she has had many highlights in her career from the Women's College World Series and playing with the national team, standing on the medal stand in Athens singing the National Anthem is by far the best.

Jessica Mendoza
During her collegiate career at Stanford University, Mendoza received first team NCAA All-American honors four times. Named to the All Pac-10 first team for four consecutive seasons.Mendoza burst onto the National scene initially with an ASA 18-and-under Gold National Championship in 1998, a sign of things to come. Ultimately, she became an International Softball Federation World Champion, and in 2004, she achieved the highest honor as an Olympic Gold Medalist.

Jennie Ritter
As a powerful force from the circle, the Canada Cup marked the first time this 2005 National Champion wore the Red, White & Blue. With a strong family background, Jennie says "Softball does so many things to prepare you for life. It is a great opportunity to learn mental toughness." Following in her sister's footsteps, who also pitched at Michigan, she began softball as a young child and says her family inspires her the most. Jennie became a PFX Tour Professional player after being selected in the top 10 of the 2006 Inaugural PFX Tour Draft.

Jenny Topping
“It's who you are,” a quote Topping notes as one to live by, this Fullerton softball alumni and 2004 gold medalist makes her third appearance this year on the Women's National team. Selected to the 2002 National team, Topping unfortunately had to decline after suffering from her second ACL tear. She took the summer to recover for her senior year at Cal State Fullerton and has come back stronger than ever |

Randi Berg
Berg’s collegiate career at Fresno State University was tremendous. With a career batting average of .278 combined with 212 hits, 36 doubles, 8 triples, and 82 RBIs, Berg found herself ranked among the top softball players to ever wear a Bulldog jersey. Her accomplishments earned her NCAA All-Regional selection numerous times and the coveted Fresno State Golden Glove Award. |

Alana Mendoza
OREGON STATE
(2004) Alana Mendoza played in 70 games with 66 starts, mostly at second base...held a .205 batting average with 34 hits and 24 runs scored...had five sacrifices and was 3-for-5 on stolen bases...doubled and scored a pair of runs at No. 17 Oregon (Mar. 26)...went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI at Saint Mary's (Apr. 1)...reeled off a 5-game hitting streak in the middle of April, including a 2-for-3 mark against Portland State (Apr. 13). |
